Sridhar Konda, 32yrs old, won the Britain’s Best Dish Main course awarded in national television cookery competition. Beating 129 rivals to win the national final of the Britain’s Best Dish competition run on ITV1 with ‘mains’ dish, lamb Biryani. Sridhar said, "Biryani is not just a matter of throwing in rice and curry powder. The lamb Biryani is the best dish from Indian Cuisine, meat will be marinated overnight with all the spices will be cooked in kachi style where raw meat and Rice cooked in single attempt in tight seal vessel which is complete unique compare to any other styles." Sridhar's authentic lamb Biryani is served with egg masal and raitha.
